Celebrating the Legacy of Violet Ricketts
Dear Family,
We are thrilled to invite you to a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating the remarkable legacy of our dear matriarch, Violet Ricketts. This family reunion will take place at the breathtaking all-inclusive resort, Jewel Grande Montego Bay (TBC) in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from July 31 to August 4, 2025 (tentative).
About the Event: This reunion is not just a gathering; it's a journey back to our roots, bringing together multiple generations from across continents to the island that holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a time to reconnect, reminisce, and create new memories together.
Honoring Violet Ricketts: The highlight of our reunion will be honoring Violet Ricketts, whose strength, wisdom, and love have shaped our family. This event is a chance for her to see all her offspring, both living abroad and in Jamaica, gathered together, celebrating the bonds that unite us.
Activities: During our stay at the resort, we will enjoy luxurious accommodations, delicious cuisine, and plenty of opportunities for relaxation and recreation. There will also be a group excursion planned to explore the beauty of our beloved island.
Accommodations: To ensure everyone's comfort and convenience, our family-based travel agency, Fly Getaways, will secure a room block at the resort with set group rates. Fly Getaways will manage everyone's reservations, but we need your help to finalize the details. Please RSVP by July 12, 2024 to provide the approximate guest count we need to contract the room block.
Exploring Jamaica: After our time at the resort, we’ll embark on an adventure to explore the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Jamaica. We’ll immerse ourselves in the true island life and continue to deepen our connections as a family.
